Why Mali Advisory

What Participants Value

Plain-Language Teaching

Financial concepts explained in ordinary words, without the abbreviations and assumptions common in market-facing materials.

Structured Reference Materials

Each programme includes printed materials — reference cards, templates, or reading packets — that participants can consult after the sessions.

Small Groups, Thoughtful Pace

Sessions are kept to a size where questions are genuinely welcome and the facilitator can adjust the pace to suit the room.

Thailand-Specific Context

Content is grounded in the Thai regulatory and financial environment, with examples drawn from the region rather than imported wholesale from other markets.

Education, Not Advice

The facilitator is an educator. Programmes build understanding and awareness; participants are directed to licensed professionals for personal decisions.

Flexible Evening Scheduling

Most programmes run as weekday or weekend evenings, fitting around existing commitments rather than requiring extended daytime availability.

Common questions

Questions & Answers

Who are these programmes designed for?

Mali Advisory programmes are written for adults 40 and over who want to understand their personal finances more clearly — people who have not had formal financial education and find much available material either too technical or too oriented toward active trading. No prior financial knowledge is assumed.

Are the sessions conducted in English?

Yes. All sessions and written materials are in English. The content is specifically adapted for adults living in or connected to Thailand, with Thai regulatory and financial context used throughout.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are held at the Mali Advisory space on Phra Barami Road in Patong, Phuket. The venue is accessible by foot from most central Patong accommodation. Parking notes are provided with booking confirmation.

How many people attend each programme?

Groups are kept small by design — typically between six and twelve participants. This allows the facilitator to address questions during the session rather than deferring them, and makes it easier to pace the material appropriately.

Does completing a programme constitute financial advice?

No. Mali Advisory is an educational service. The facilitator is an educator, not a licensed financial advisor or accountant. The programmes are intended to build knowledge and understanding; participants are consistently directed to consult qualified professionals for decisions about their own finances.

How do I register for a programme?

Send an enquiry using the contact form below or call us directly. We will confirm upcoming dates, answer any questions you have, and send you a booking summary once your place is reserved. Payment is arranged at that stage.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full details are shared at the time of booking. As a general note, we ask for at least seven days' notice for cancellations where possible, which helps us manage group sizes and offer the place to someone on the waiting list if one exists.
