What We Offer
Each Mali Advisory programme addresses a distinct aspect of personal financial understanding. They can be taken in any order and each stands on its own.
← Back to HomeHow the Programmes Are Structured
Mali Advisory programmes are built around a paragraph-and-table format: the key ideas are introduced and discussed in plain prose, and then the practical details — duration, frequency, materials, costs — are laid out in a small reference table so participants have a clear record to consult later.
Sessions are not lectures. The facilitator works from a prepared structure but treats it as a guide rather than a script. If the room needs more time on a concept, it gets it. If a group arrives with a working understanding of something, the material moves forward. This is only possible because groups are kept small.
All three programmes are delivered in English with Thai regulatory and financial context as the operating frame. There is no assumption that participants have prior financial training.

Investing Basics: A Quiet Introduction
A three-evening introductory programme for adults 40+ who would like to understand the basics of investing without the noise of daily commentary. The facilitator walks through what stocks, bonds, and funds actually are — in plain words — and discusses the historical patterns of long-term investing in Thai and regional contexts. Materials draw on patient sources rather than market headlines.
Participants leave with a small reference card summarising the core concepts and a short list of further readings selected for their reliability over time rather than their topicality.

Best suited for adults who want a grounded starting point — people who have accumulated savings but never quite understood what they were accumulating toward.
Best suited for adults who feel their money is moving but are not sure where, or who are approaching a transition — retirement, a change in employment, or a significant purchase.
The Personal Cashflow Map
A one-day workshop in which participants build a one-page personal cashflow map of their household — income, recurring outgoings, irregular but predictable expenses, and savings flows. The facilitator provides a printed template developed for the Thai household and walks each participant through the process.
The aim is clarity rather than judgement. Participants leave with a completed cashflow map for their own household and a small set of reflective notes about what they noticed in the process of building it.

The Tax Allowances Reading Programme
A four-session evening programme dedicated to understanding the personal income tax allowances available in Thailand and the considerations particular to adults 40+. Topics include provident fund contributions, mutual fund allowances such as RMF, life insurance premium allowances, and parent-support allowances, all discussed within their current regulatory framing.
The facilitator is an educator; participants are consistently directed to consult a licensed accountant for their own tax returns. The programme builds understanding of the regulatory landscape rather than providing tax advice. Includes a reference packet.

Standards Across All Programmes
Scope Stated at Outset
Every programme begins with a clear statement of what it covers and what it does not. Participants know when to seek a licensed professional for matters that fall outside educational scope.
Participant Data Protection
Contact and booking information is held securely and used only for programme administration. No participant data is shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Annual Content Review
Programme materials — particularly the tax allowances content — are reviewed against current Thai Revenue Department publications before each new cohort begins.
Post-Programme Feedback
Structured feedback is collected after each cohort. Responses inform revisions to session sequencing and emphasis before the next group begins.
No Product Affiliation
Mali Advisory holds no affiliation with banks, fund managers, or insurance providers. Participants are never directed toward a specific financial product.
Follow-Up Communication
A brief follow-up note is sent two weeks after programme completion — pointing to any relevant regulatory updates and reminding participants of their reference materials.
